title: Site Engineer
Job
Responsibility:
- To act as the main technical adviser on a construction site for subcontractors, crafts people and operatives;
- To set out, levelling and surveying the site;
- To check plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations;
- To ensure that all materials used and work performed are as per specifications;
- To oversee the selection and requisition of materials and plant;
- To agree a price for materials, and making cost-effective solutions and proposals for the intended project;
- To manage, monitor and interprete the contract design documents supplied by the client/architect;
- To liaise with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project;
- To liaise with the local authority (where appropriate to the project) to ensure compliance with local construction regulations and by-laws;
- To liaise with clients and their representatives (architects, engineers and surveyors), including attending regular meetings to keep them informed of progress;
- To handle day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labour force and the work of any subcontractors;

ensure that the building activities proceed as per plan perfectly.

To organize
labour and equipment on the field properly.
·
To
evaluate the available resources to make strong decisions regarding further
requirements.
·
To ensure that
the building is proceeding as per schedule and deadlines and needs to oversee
that.
·
To
make sure that the building activities are
performing within budget.
·
To
prepare records and documents as well at the different stages of building and
submitting reports to the higher officials.
·
To
check out the plans and compatibility of the design and recommending changes if
required.
·
To
conduct the preliminary surveys to test its eligibility for construction.
·
To
replenish the stock of building materials as and when required perfectly.
·
To
be very sure about the safety precautions during the construction of the building
·
To work
as a trouble-shooter to solve the problems and get perfect solutions on the
field.

Specification: HND/B.Sc. Building / Civil
Engineering.

Must
have not less than 10 years
of experience
as a Site Engineer involved in direct supervision of building construction.

Must have
a professional certification in a relative field
·
Experience
with a multinational construction company will be an added advantage
